 I was invited this past week to be apart of the Morning RADIO show located in the beautiful white mountains of Arizona in Lakeside.

 

 I have always had a wish as a little boy to have a song played on the Radio as far back as I can remember.  A good friend of mine, Joe Bjorne called the station and told the program director a little about me and what i have been doing with my music over the past 100 years......(seems like that long) I made the connections and was able to go and meet Jack Jacobs and sit with him on Wednesday and introduce my song titled
"You Are My Soldier"  This song was inspired by my oldest son PVT Jared Hutzler serving in the United States ARMY.   I hope that you would listen to it and share it with your family and friends.

                                                     

    I got there a little early and had a few minutes to check out the STATION    

    

The station I was on was the COUNTRY STATION 

WILD WEST 93.5  It was so cool just to be able to be apart of that and live one of my life time goals...sit in the Radio Station as one of my Songs was being broadcast over the RADIO live.  It was so overwhelming.  I know I will never forget that moment.

As we were able to visit and the time was getting close,,He played the song,,,and a tear began to swell in my eyes,,ya see, he had no idea that this has been a goal of mine FOREVER. Hearing myself on the RADIO was truly a rush of emotions and complete joy.  I had accomplished something I set out to do for a long time.  He then asked me if I would sing a few songs Live,,,that was even better,,so I did.  I sang some of the old country favorites that i had been signing my whole live for my family and friends,,,White Lightning, Blue Suede Shoes and then my last song; Help Me Make It Through The Night.

Be apart of this moments was mind boggling for sure.  

 Jack even invited me back in a month or so

to see how my song was being accepted and viewed on YOU-TUBE.  Gave out my Name and Email Address for those wanting to get a hold of me.

I know this song is touching the lives of many military men and women throughout the WORLD.  I have had some great comments from Mom's and Dad's on how this song has touched their hearts. I am hoping that by doing these types of broadcasts that others will listen and feel of the love that it was inspired by.  It is dedicated to my my Son Jared Michael Hutzler who enlisted in the United States Army.  During that basic training time for him is where the inspiration came (in the middle of the night) so bad I could not sleep,,so,,,I got up and proceeded to write the words and music. Then I proceed to mix my video (and paid tribute to the hundreds) of SUPPORTING PARENTS AND LOVED ONES  with still pics for the song and uploaded it to You-Tube.
I made myself a GOAL... 5,000 views by the 4th of JULY.  Please help support me in this goal. I know that those serving our COUNTRY will feel of the Love that we all have for them through this Music and VIDEO.

Dave Hutzler's son enlisted the United States Army. His son was accepted and was sent to Fort Banning, Georgia.  While he was there in basic training, Dave Hutzler was inspired to write a song titled: "YOU ARE MY SOLDIER".

Today being the 28th day of MAY, 2014,,,I went to YOU-TUBE and got an update on the Total views for the song TITLED  "YOU ARE MY SOLDIER"

I am hoping that this Video is still getting moved around on the Internet.  I have trying to send it to as many stations as possible.  Please share this information as much as you can with the MILITARY so they can all have a chance to hear it!!

This is what I have been sending out: This might help!! My name is Dave Hutzler. I am 57 Years old I live in Mesa Arizona and I would like to know if you would be interested in covering a story that is going around the world and is getting some great comments on You-Tube with the MILITARY. I would like to explain. My Son enlisted the United States ARMY. Was accepted and was sent to Fort Benning, Georgia. While he was there in Basic...I was inspired to write a song TITLED: "YOU ARE MY SOLDIER"and I recorded the Music professionally in the studio. Then proceeded to do a MUSIC VIDEO and attached it to the SONG. He is now in Fort Drum, New York waiting for Deployment Assignments. Training in Expert Infantry, trying hard to earn his badge. I have been playing music ever since I was a little boy. I wrote this song and dedicated it to my SON, and paid tribute to our Military all across the World by portraying How hard sometimes it is to have our YOUR men and women Grow up and then become young people and then make decisions to go and defend our COUNTRY. The Comments and reviews can be read on my Channel. It is overwhelming at the responses I have been receiving. I then posted everything on Facebook and the whole page started to blow up with people sending me friend requests and leaving some remarkable thank you's and sending their love for my effort in SUPPORTING OUR TROOPS. Then I started liking a few Military groups and before I knew it the fan page started to grow and grow. I then got a interesting call from a California Radio Station that invited me to Broadcast my Story live on his Blog talk radio station. It was a 1 hour session that was sent out live and he told me he was overwhelmed at the listeners that logged on to hear the story and some hearing the song for the first time. I set out on a goal to Have 5000 views on You-tube and the amount is growing faster and faster each day. I created a music video and it has been going to allot of the soldiers in Afghanistan.  Its one of those types of songs that will touch your heart.  It was even picked up by a Radio Station in California and I was asked to be on the RADIO for a 1 hour long show,,,Here is the link if you would like to hear how the whole thing got started.

I used to get lots of friend requests from people trying to promote themselves. Usually the music was nothing like what I was interested in, and even worse it was usually far away from the values I cherish. So I usually rejected those, although there were exceptions. You are an exception.
I like your style. Let me guess, you're a George Strait fan, right? You sound a little like him (that's quite a compliment), and you even look a little bit like him. Same hat! Wait a minute, now that I think about it, I've never seen Dave Hutzler and George Strait in the same place at the same time. Hmm...-
